ABSTRACT: This study investigated the Effects of Early Childhood Education on Technological Literacy. The objectives of this study were to: (1) explore the effects of early childhood education (ECE) programs on enhancing technological literacy among young children, (2) assess the effectiveness of technology integration in ECE curricula, and (3) determine the long-term benefits of technological literacy on educational outcomes. A survey research design was employed to gather comprehensive data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with technology education in ECE settings. A sample size of 160 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and children aged 4-6, was selected using purposive sampling to ensure representation from diverse socio-economic backgrounds in Edo State, Nigeria. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers known for their innovative use of technology in teaching and learning. Findings indicated that ECE programs significantly enhanced children's technological literacy, fostering skills in digital literacy, problem-solving, and creativity. It is recommended that early childhood education centers continue to integrate technology education into their curricula, provide professional development for educators, and ensure access to age-appropriate technology resources.
